Austin, Texas - March 7, 2008 - Local metal band Pack of Wolves will jam 3 shows at SXSW. First off, on March 13th - at Plush, 617 Red River, Giant Steps Records will be hosting their launch party. The pack will be playing from 4:20pm - 4:50pm. Then on the 14th at Mugshots, 407 E 7th St., they will be rockin’ from 5:45pm - 6:30pm. And rounding out the week at the East 4th Blend Showcase, 1300 E 4th St., from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Admission to all shows is free ($5 for minors at mug shots). Pack of Wolves was formed in 2006 when Trey Ramirez (At All Cost) and Adrian Carillio (Games & Theory) teamed up with Tyson Swindell (Games & Theory) and Brian "Beardsley" Mcswain. In early 2007, "The Wall Crusher" LP was released . The band describes their sound as a cross of brutal metal and epic rock & roll. The Pack has made a name for themselves across the country with raucous live shows, album and merchandise sales, as well as video play both broadcast and online. Currently, they are working on an EP to be completed in April to be followed by an national tour this spring with Light Pupil Dialate (Lifeforce Records) and hardcore heavyweights Century (Prosthetic Records).
