Austin TX reggae rock showcase

After a brief much needed hiatus after their fourth tour outside TX this past August, Austin reggaeskarockers Indofin will be back home playing an all ages reggaerock showcase Wednesday November 14 2007 at Flamingo Cantina , 515 E. 6th St. Austin TX. Special guests The Raspas and Tri Opus will be opening the show, starting 9:30p $5-$7 cover
Together since 2002, Indofin has evolved from extremely humble beginnings to become a major force to be reckoned with in the central TX skareggae scene. Since deciding to go the DIY route in the summer of 2005 by booking their own national tour and self releasing their debut album, Indofin has played over 200 shows in cities ranging from California all the way across to Florida. Since the first tour, the band has done three more seminational tours on their own and countless weekend regional tours, with no management, agents, or record label support. During the summer of 2007, Indofin landed a spot on the Houston date of the Vans Warped Tour Kevin Says Stage and they also landed opening spots for in-demand national touring acts Badfish, Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Expendables, and The Supervillains.
The band is currently hard at work on new songs for the long awaited follow up album to their debut, which they will start recording at the beginning of 2008 after a couple months of regional touring.
