Music Marketing Seeks Product Specialist in Austin

Music Marketing is a distributor specializing in music and audio software, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We are currently looking to recruit a Product Specialists for field work in the Austin area.
Our Product Specialists work with our resellers, making regular visits for information gathering, installations, maintenance, clinics, and training for our products and services. This is a paid part-time position that typically requires 8-16 hours per week, and offers a flexible schedule that can be ideal for somebody who wants to also maintain a freelance or performance schedule. It is an entry-level position, but offers growth potential for ambitious, talented people.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, honest, organized, and genuinely excited about music technology. You should be very computer literate, intricately familiar with Pro Tools, and fluent in one or more major sequencing/DAW packages such as Cubase, Nuendo, Logic, SONAR, Live, Reason, or FL Studio. You must be self-motivated and capable of working independently, and be mobile and able to get around your territory. While not mandatory, it would be a definite asset if you had your own laptop capable of running current-generation audio applications, as it may not always be possible to access a store computer to showcase software.
