We continually get asked for recommendations for web hosts that are good for musicians. So without further ado...

Austin Music uses Host Gator for our web hosting needs, and we think they're great for the following reasons...

1. They're cheap. Only $6.95 a month for tons of space. Plenty of room for mp3s and other rich media content musicians need for their website.

2. Great add-ons. Not like Yahoo and other crappy hosts that upsell everything. Free blog software, ecommerce stuff, and great stats.

3. Solid support. They have online chat support that makes it quick and easy to fix stuff without waiting on the phone. They also have phone support for more complex issues.
