Description: Adrian and the Sickness is a three piece original guitar rock band based in Austin, Texas. The band features the amazing singer, songwriter, and lead guitarist, Adrian Conner. Adrian's day job is her role as Angus Young in Seattle's female tribute to AC/DC, Hell's Belles. In 2002 she packed up and moved to Austin to establish her own original rock band and to break free of the cover band stereotype. She is joined by the rock-hard rhythm duo, Heather Webb and Nina Singh, known collectively as The Sickness. The live show is a strong, high-energy, head-banging performance where Adrian runs back and forth with her Gibson SG, backspins on the stage, jumps into the crowd and runs around the club dodging drinks and amazed fans, all without missing a single note. Adrian says that playing Angus Young in Hell’s Belles has showed her that “audiences respond better to an energetic visual performance than to bands simply having great songs.”
